The Batesville High School Drama Club is excited to present the second annual “The 24-Hour Plays” show Saturday, April 28, at 7 p.m., reports sponsor Paul Satchwill, a BHS English teacher. This event was rescheduled due to inclement weather earlier this year.
The free evening is made up of a series of short skits that are written, produced and performed by BHS Drama Club members. The show will be “a fast-paced, adrenaline-inducing event filled with fun for the entire community,” he says.
“With just 24 hours between brainstorming ideas and performing a show, students move quickly to write, memorize and perform skits created entirely of their original work. Last year’s plays were wildly popular and well-received.”
Freewill donations and canned goods will be accepted at the door for the local food pantry.
